Life is absolutely awesome right now!
Nothing to worry about. just me, music and movies every passing day.
Within 2 days, I’ve watched 5 movies and had 2 compositions ringing in my head. This feeling is just amazingly great!
Oh yeah, you know being a movie fanatic, i really adore having much me-time and spend it all on the screens. I’l be really surprised how many movies i’ll be watching after this superb holiday is over! hahah we’ll jolly well do a count after that alright, i promise.
and FINALLY! I bought that newly written Mitch Albom book, HAVE A LITTLE FAITH. Will take the time to read it these couple of days and hopefully, feels even more inspired and positive after reading it, just like how “Tuesdays with Morrie” & “For One More Day” did wonders to my never-dying spirit. Probably will do a review after that, so stay tuned!

whee! this is the holiday that i’ve been waiting for since the start of the reading week, and here it comes!
FINALLY! what a sigh of relief.
last semester was indeed a mad rush over schoolwork, as I’ve deviated from most of my CCAs, leaving only CNM society.
But overall, I did enjoyed those modules, especially Singapore Society (SSA1201). Of course, couldn’t miss out on those stayovers at the CNM society room, rushing projects with my Advertising Strategies (NM3215) and Principles of Visual Communications (NM2208) project mates. Indeed, it was another memorable semester in NUS.

So now, im as free as a bird!
partied real hard after my last exam, which was Media Research (NM2102). We went KTV till 6am the next morning, washed up a little and went to school for Industry Advisory Council meeting. After that, jx, yq and I headed to vivocity to chill and had some awesome coffee at pacific coffee club. Everything went perfectly well after exams =)

and these few days, I’ve been watching tons of movies! it’s like a mega movie marathon.
Pirates of the Carribean, Die Hard 4, Planet 51 and Angels & Demons…. and more to come definitely!
can’t wait to just relax and have some fun before next hectic semester comes along again. You know, time really flies (and i’m not kidding).

But still, my christmas wish for this year will probably be wanting to go overseas. Any place will do, as long as it’s out of Singapore. Can’t wait to start on overseas shooting and expand my photography portfolio. If my dear readers have an interest in photography as well, we can hang out at some really cool places and get those awesome shots! (ps. I love travel and scenery photography).

Today is Day 4 of my holidays! and for the rest of the days to come until the next semester is here, it’s gonna be a fun-filled holiday, with 100% pure entertainment =)

I suddenly have this urge to blog after such a long break from blogging. Nothing much. Been really busy with school because of the high hopes I’ve pinned on myself to be a dean lister someday. It may seem far for an ordinary student like me. But I gotta believe this day will come if i work really hard for it. So, I’ve been nerding real hard just to make another dream come true once again. Life is hard. But I’ll breeze through this rough ride with hope and faith.

I promise to make this blog a lively one when my finals are over and stay tuned! Cause I’ve lots of amazing stories to tell….

the sky is sooo hazy today!
I can barely see another area clearly out of my windows.
After so many days of reading my NM3215 Advertising Strategies textbook, I decided to take a break and blog something out.
well. I’m still so busy afterall, though I’ve quitted most of my CCAs and commitments. I guessed being busy runs in my blood, and I can’t really escape from it. Feel like getting away from this bustling city and experience some crazy adventures instead. Maybe to Africa, to Alaska or even back to my favourite country, Japan! But gotta save up first =)

Talking about music, I have been listening to sodagreen new songs everyday! lol. Can’t deny the fact that the lead singer is awesomely talented. His voice is unique and most importantly, he composes songs like it’s an extremely easy task that he incorporates into his life everyday. How i wish one fine day, I can be just like him. Sitting at a corner, hugging a guitar and writing songs like nobody’s business. I’m still naively waiting for this day to arrive =( to end off this post, shall present to you some cool youtube videos!

gawd. this kind of music is really so nice to listen to! Just makes my mood so relaxed and happy once again =)

The past few months, I’ve been chasing a dream to surpass what I can achieve as a human being. Not able to eat well and sleep well, I possess some kind of overpowering strength, a life full of vitality to achieve the impossible. Until a certain stage, where i hit my limit, I realize it’s time to hit the stop button. This is it.

1 month ago, I was still the individual when I tell myself, YES YOU CAN! YOU CAN DO EVERYTHING IN LIFE! My turning point came on the day of 23 August 2009, when i was awaken by some mysterious force. The force, named adulthood, was indeed thought-provoking.

When you realized you’ve reached a certain stage of your life, and you can’t turn back time, you tend to be serious in everything you do. I don’t mean i’m not serious in the past. But it may seem that I’m serious over the wrong things in life. Yup, i agree i do more life planning now, balancing my time with my loved ones more tactfully. But the most important lesson I’ve learnt as the clock strikes 12 midnight on 23 august was the lesson on TREASURING.

I admit i didn’t know how to treasure people nor things around me in the past. Not as much as what others see me as. Sometimes, I even take things for granted. Adulthood acted as a wake up call and put an end to my ignorant behavior. Now, I know how to appreciate the small details that made life beautiful and memorable. Whether is a comforting hug, a call of concern, or even a heartwarming action, I’m lucky to have encounter all these great moments =)

Some of my friends commented I’ve changed a lot. I felt, they too were changing just as rapidly. Probably right now, I’m not the previous Daisy they’ve known. The one who puts in her best efforts to get things done, or the one who is a workaholic and who doesn’t need rest at all. Now, my life doesn’t revolve so much around work anymore. While everyone around me continues to strive for the best and do what they feel they have passion in, I’m slowing down to enjoy life – to spend more time with people whom i treasure, to create fulfilling memories that i treasure, and last but not least, to grab hold of time, which is the only unstoppable element i’ll always treasure to fulfill my dreams in life.

This post will mark my biggest transformation in life and to the people I’ve once met with fate and love, thank you so much for shaping who I am today and I wish all of you well for the future to come. Here’s a song dedicated to you all. Enjoy!

I’ve once again broken my own limits, soaring high to fulfill whatever tasks that lay before me.
Within the past 3 months, I’ve achieved tremendous results for myself. I’ve rediscovered the strategy of planning events and working with people. I’ve met different people and seen the different sides of them. Some were awesome, but some were rather disappointing.

Lesson one. The most important lesson i’ve taken from the 5 camps is that no matter what happens, staying true to yourself is the most important. That includes delivering whatever things one has promised to do and never back them out.

Lesson two. I realized with humans around, there are bound to be ranting here and there. But it’s quite contradictory to link positivism and complaints together. It’s quite amazing sometimes to see how people can voice out their awful dissatisfactions, yet transforming into a really nice person the next time round in front of the affected parties. Though i refused to see the ugly sides of them each and every time, i can’t help it as this contradiction is way too overpowering for me to handle.

Lesson three. No matter how much you are unwilling to do something, in the end, you’ll succumb to your principles and drive yourself to achieve the impossible. It’s been a long and tough fight as a videographer for oweek. But i’m really glad I outdid myself this time round with all the expectations set for my role.

Lesson four. Silence is really golden in some cases while planning camps. It’s better to talk less and ponder more.

Lesson five. It’s all in the mind. How you feel, what you think about, definitions of everything, it’s all up to you to define it yourself.

The past 3 months have been another exciting chapter of my life. Whatever emotions that i’ve had, what friends i’ve made, and whatever memories i’ve created, i know all these will change my life yet again. Thank you to all who have left all the footprints in my life and for me to rediscover myself and this complicated world. Rest well my friends before school starts! see all of you around in school!

i knew this day would come.
the day when i crashed again.
maybe it’s just too overwhelming. you know. the massive pile of work right in front of your eyes, when you know you have the right to choose not to accept them during the holiday season. But you did. cause you want to lead a fulfilling life or to help a friend.
and when this happens, i start to think negatively once again.
seriously, mankind is way too weak.
the only enemy that i can recall up till now is probably the negative side of me.
whenever im tired. i just feel like letting go and taking many steps back.
so here’s my venting ground.
i rant and rant and rant and rant and rant….
and now i feels perfectly alright and having the drive to continue what im doing once again.
